About Me

Marcia Ferreira: I am a Brazilian citizen, born and raised in Franca, São Paulo. At the age of fourteen, I started learning English at CCBEU, the Binational Center of Franca, where I got my first job in 1978. I soon developed a real taste for teaching English, and without a doubt this experience has pretty much shaped my life. Everything I did after that, revolved around my career in the field of English language teaching. In 2000, I took up the post of academic coordinator, which has encouraged me to learn further regarding interpersonal relationships, leadership skills, and professional development, to name a few. I believe in the need for changes, in practicing what I preach and in the power of education. I am presently highly dedicated to building the second half of my life.
